  • Winter Landscaping Services

One of the most common questions we get asked by our customers is “can landscaping be done in winter?” We’re here to tell you that it absolutely can! Landscaping can be done no matter what season it is. In saying this, there are limitations to the services offered during “off-season” periods such as winter such as certain plants and flowers do not grow in colder climates.

We've created a list for some of the possible services that can be undertaken during late fall / winter.

Lawn Winterization (Winter Lawn Prep) Lawn growth greatly decreases when the temperature drops which is why it is important to make sure your lawn is ready for winter. Winterization can include lawn fertilization, aeration, raking and more.

Lawn MovingJust because your lawn takes longer to grow doesn’t mean that it won’t need a trim until spring! Lawns need mowing during the winter in order to preserve the quality of the grass.

Tree & Hedge MaintenanceEvergreen trees, shrubs, and hedges prove their strength over the winter which is why it is the perfect time to prune and maintain their shapes. Winter provides these plants with an environment that causes less structural stress to their limps, limiting any possible damage to the plant itself.

Snow Removal / Snow blowingit is inevitable that the temperature will drop during the winter season which sometimes means snow and always means frosty / icy conditions. To ensure safety is maintained on your property, we will salt pathways, driveways, and sidewalks when these conditions are expected to occur. On top of that, we will remove / blow snow away from your property should it appear.

Winter bedding for spring bulbs In preparation for spring, winter bedding prepares plants on your property for a new bloom. Bulbs are carefully arranged and "tucked in" for winter.
