• Our COVID-19 Response

     

    An update on our initial site visits for new clients, our regularly scheduled landscaping services and what we are doing to protect our clients, staff, and the general public.

  • In December 2019, the world was shocked by an outbreak of COVID-19. This rapidly transmissible disease has caused a challenging time for all of us. At Green Zone Landscaping, we want to assure you that our clients and employees well-being are the upmost importance to us.

     

    We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that we minimize the risk and impact of the virus during our daily routine. This statement has been created to outline our plan to protect our staff, our clients, and the general public.

     

    What you can expect from us:

    All of our staff will be equipped with the necessary gear and will practice social distancing where possible in order to continue landscaping maintenance as usual.

    • We are practicing safe social distancing not only with our clients but amongst our staff and the general public
    • Our vehicles will carry antibacterial supplies including gloves, hand sanitizers and wipes
    • We are dedicated to washing our hands frequently
    • We are cleaning our equipment thoroughly and regularly

    With so much to worry about during this difficult time, we want to reassure our clients that when you hire Green Zone Landscaping, we will always take the necessary measures in order to get the job done safely and on time.

     

    If any of our staff show signs or symptoms of the virus, they will be asked to self-isolate for the government-recommended amount of time (at this moment it is between 10-14 days, depending on the length of mild respiratory symptoms).

     

    We are regularly updating our staff on the status of the virus and any new social distancing measures that are put in place in order to provide the best possible care for both our employees and our clients.

     

    What we expect from our clients:

    We kindly ask our clients to take all the necessary precautions to limit the spread of the virus. This helps to ensure that our staff are not exposed to anyone you may know that could have come into contact with the virus, whether that be an employee, family member, or friend.

     

    If you become aware that someone from your circle has tested positively for COVID-19, we ask that you immediately inform us so that we can take the necessary steps to stop the spread in its tracks.

     

    We hope that by taking these measures we will reduce the spread of the virus and ensure the health and safety of everyone involved. As a company, we will follow all government guidelines should a lockdown commence.
